But even before that, my papa—my grandfather on my mother’s side—had introduced me to basics on the violin by teaching me simple tunes like “Twinkle, Twinkle”. By 8, I was already competing as well as performing in little events. For many years, I took private Irish fiddle lessons in Westford, MA from Laurel Martin and then I progressed on to taking lessons from a musician in Toronto named Patrick Ourceau. The lessons with Patrick took place via FaceTime!

Although music was always my first love, I initially prioritized a corporate career and never seriously considered being a full-time musician. I worked in Boston in the corporate world, but at the end of 2019, I relocated to Nashville for another job. I had no intention of pursuing music full-time—until 2022, when I was contacted by the manager of Gaelic Storm and invited to audition to become the band’s new fiddle player. I was initially very nervous to make the switch from the corporate world to being a touring musician. But I have never for a second regretted that decision since the first day I stepped on foot the stage with Gaelic Storm.

Nashville & Touring

I spend most of the year touring, and when I’m not on the road, I’m based in Nashville, where I stay busy with session work and local gigs. I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with top artists as a special guest on their tracks or joining their band for performances. I really enjoy collaborating with fellow musicians and staying engaged in the vibrant Nashville music scene.
